Starkey Omega AI

Omega AI is Starkey’s current hearing aid platform, designed for everyday listening, connectivity, and all day wear. The right choice still depends on your hearing needs, preferred style, phone, and listening environments.

  • Speech in changing environments: Omega AI adapts as listening conditions change, with Edge Mode+ available for added support in challenging situations.
  • Battery and durability: Starkey lists up to 51 hours of battery life for supported configurations. Rechargeable styles are rated waterproof up to one meter. Actual battery performance varies with settings, streaming, and use.
  • Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast: Omega AI supports Bluetooth LE Audio and uses the My Starkey app’s Auracast assistant to find and select available broadcasts. Auracast access requires compatible hearing aids, supported software, and an active broadcast at the venue.
  • Accessories: Starkey offers compatible options such as a TV streamer, remote microphones, table microphone, and LE Audio adapter for specific listening needs.

Starkey Edge AI

Edge AI is an earlier Starkey platform that combines adaptive sound processing, rechargeable options, smartphone controls, and selected connectivity features. Whether it is still the right fit depends on the exact model and how you plan to use it.

  • Everyday listening: Edge AI is designed to adjust across quiet conversations, busy rooms, and changing sound environments.
  • My Starkey app controls: Supported devices can use the app for volume, programs, streaming controls, reminders, and other available features.
  • Connectivity varies by device: Direct streaming, Bluetooth LE Audio, and Auracast support depend on the exact hearing aid, phone, operating system, software, and available broadcast.
  • Compatibility should be checked: Starkey currently lists Edge AI support for iOS and iPadOS 15 or later, and Android 14 or later. Supported features still vary by device and software version.
